About Mary
Mary Occhino is a gifted psychic-intuitive, author and host of “Angels on Call” on Sirius/XM’s Stars 102 and star of Syfy‘s reality show, “Mary Knows Best.”
Even as a young girl, Mary knew she was able to “see” future events and communicate with those who have passed over. These abilities have become more pronounced over the years, and she has now been conducting readings for more than two decades.
In 1992, Mary was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which only heightened her senses.
Mary conducts seminars nationwide, phone readings and e-mail readings. She offers guidance on relationships, health and family issues and career concerns. She also provides closure to those who have lost love ones.
Mary’s gift was tested by Dr. Gary Schwartz, director of The VERITAS Research Program of the Human Energy Systems Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Schwartz, who earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University, is also a former psychology professor at Yale University.
Dr. Schwartz found that Mary’s abilities are as good as, if not better, than mediums such as John Edward and George Anderson, who Dr. Schwartz had studied for his book, “The Afterlife Experiments.”
Mary was also part of Dr. Schwartz’s triple-blind study, in which she read Dr. Deepak Chopra without the knowledge of whom she was reading. He was in California while she was in New York.
Mary is the author of “Beyond These Four Walls: Diary of a Psychic Medium,” (Penguin-Putnam, 2004), “Sign of the Dove” (Berkley, 2006) and “Awakened Instincts: Seven Keys for Enhancing Every Aspect of Your Life” (Atria, 2008). Mary’s daughter, Jacqueline Sullivan, collaborated with Mary on “Awakened Instincts.”
Mary’s call-in radio show, “Angels on Call,” airs Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. EST. on Sirius-XM’s Stars 102 and XM 155. Call 1-888-4-102-102.
Mary Knows Best airs Thursdays on Syfy at 9 p.m. Eastern.
